The Exo Terra Big Rock Ceramic Cave is a moisture-retaining hide with a refillable water reservoir and removable lid, giving reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates access to a sheltered humid microclimate.
The hygroscopic ceramic absorbs moisture from the reservoir and releases it gradually into the cave. This helps moderate local humidity and temperature and can support hydration, shedding and egg-laying behaviour. The removable lid allows straightforward access for checking and cleaning the hide.
